Shampoo One Paul

My stylist recommended Paul Mitchell Shampoo One and Shampoo three, but my hair felt weird. What's up?

I went to the JC Penny salon and the stylist recommended Paul Mitchell Shampoo One for my everyday use, and Shampoo Three every three days for clarifying. But every time I washed my hair, it felt weird. Its as if there was soap scum in my hair, especially when my hair is dry. What gives?

It's most likely that these shampoo's have a certain way of using them. Now I now it's really dumb thing to ask - but did you read the instructions carefully on the bottle? Most of the time it's because of misuse. Also with the Shampoo Three - it's pretty powerful so you have to rise really well otherwise you may get some build up in your hair.

Just try and test it for a few days - if it continues, call your stylist and ask about it or stop using it. if you stop using make sure not just to switch back to your old products right away. I know this will sound gross but don't wash your hair with any products for a week or so, this will give it time to mend, and will also let you establish a new hair routine. Then you may want to go down to your pharmacy or beautician and pick up some hair reparing serum - one that is formulated for chemically damaged hair (the kind of stuff you use if you've had a bad hair dye job or you've used something that didn't agree with your hair) and use that once a week, depending on how your hair is after you have not used anything on it for a week or so.
