Question about getting refund for spa services not rendered? Treatments were not completed.?

In Jan. of last year (I believe it was Jan or shortly before) I prepaid to have endermology treatments done because it was cheaper to buy the package. Well last year became very hectic with ill family members, traveling, etc. and now I am pregnant, so I cannot continue with the treatments... not only that but I was stood up by the esthetician more than once and she never bothered to call and reschedule (not that it was technically her responsibility, but it's not good practice to me.) but the treatments were not effective. Either way, I paid almost $400 total and only received 6 of the 13 treatments. I'm almost embarressed to call and request a partial refund or ask for credit in the salon, but could they actually refuse to do either? What would you do in my case? Would it be legal for them to keep my money and not "make whole" in a sense? I do have the receipt but I do not have a record of appts. I haven't been to the salon in over 6 months

You were the one who failed to take the full course of treatment. Unless they refused to honro their part of the contract, you have no complaint.

Since you bought a package, I would EXPECT them to refuse the refund.
